OBTAINING APPROVAL TO ADD A PRODUCT ON THE SITE
The following process will be followed in approving Health Careers
Recruitment and / or Retention products to be added to and featured
on the Clearinghouse:
I. Products automatically featured on this web site meet at least
one of the following criteria:
- Health Careers Recruitment and / or Retention Products developed
under contract with the Georgia DCH Division of Health Planning
and / or the Georgia Department of Community
Health,
the Georgia Health Care Workforce Policy Advisory Committee [HWPAC];
and,
- Health Careers Recruitment and / or Retention Products developed
by member organizations represented on the Georgia Department
of Community
Health,
the Georgia Health Care Workforce Policy Advisory Committee [HWPAC].
The Director of the Health Careers Resource Clearinghouse may
add, at her discretion, products submitted by Georgia non-profits
or AHECs from other states, if they are deemed appropriate to
the site. When a denial is made, it will be automatically forwarded
to the Recruitment and Marketing Sub-Committee of the HWPAC for
validation. The Sub-Committee may overrule a decision of the
Director.
II. For products not meeting these criteria, (i.e. for profit
vendors, out of state vendors, etc.) but submitted for consideration
to the Director of the Clearinghouse, the following process will
be utilized:
- The Director will review the proposed product and make a
recommendation to the Recruitment and Marketing Sub-Committee
of the HWPAC.
- The Sub-Committee will decide if the product should be featured
on the site.
III. PROCESS TO PLACE A PRODUCT ON THE SITE:
Once approval to be added to the site is received (section 1 above),
the developer of the product must forward four (4) physical copies
of the product to the Clearinghouse Director, and provide narrative,
as needed, to the Webmaster. Product pricing information must
also be provided to be included on the site. A Letter of Agreement
between the product developer and the Clearinghouse must be executed
prior to inclusion of the product on the site. Products are eligible
for inclusion throughout the year; there will be no defined cycles
for introducing new products.
IV. FEES:
There will be no fees associated with being featured on this site.
V. SITE REVIEW:
The Clearinghouse Director and the HWPAC Recruitment and Marketing
Sub-Committee will conduct an annual review of the site in
the
Spring of each fiscal year. This review will be for the purposes
of determining continuing appropriateness of products featured
and to verify continued availability of the products.
VI. EXHIBIT:
The Clearinghouse reserves the right to utilize all products featured
on its site for exhibits and displays at professional and governmental
meetings. The purpose of these exhibits will be to provide exposure
to the site and to increase awareness of the products available
for review on the site.
