HRSA Bureau of Health Professions Grants

Research on Mental Disorders in Rural and Frontier Populations

This is an ongoing grant program from the National Institute of Mental Health. Applications are to be submitted on grant application form PHS 398 and will be accepted at the standard application deadlines as indicated in the application kit (February 1, June 1, and October 1).

The Telemedicine Information Exchange maintains a searchable up-to-date database of funding sources for telemedicine activity, which includes funding opportunities in both the government and private sectors. The TIE collects and maintains a variety of details about each funding opportunity, such as contact information, related websites, deadlines, and other notes.

Universal Service Fund 's Rural Health Care Program 

"The Rural Health Care Program is a universal service support program authorized by Congress and designed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide reduced rates to rural Health Care Providers (HCPs) for telecommunications services related to the use of telemedicine & telehealth."
